Hands On Learning

At Jill Abrams Tutoring, Inc., our skilled tutors utilize diverse teaching methods that are tailored to each child’s learning needs and preferences. We understand that every student has their own unique combination of learning styles that work best for them. Creating lesson plans that include assorted learning styles is extremely effective, as the child has more opportunity to absorb and record the information in different ways. With the use of hands-on materials, students get the benefit from auditory, visual, and physical learning all at once.

Our main goal is to engage our students, as it has been proven time and time again that an engaged child is a learning child. At Jill Abrams Tutoring, Inc., we have a multitude of materials available to our students, including play-money for money counting activities, an interactive clock for telling time, sentence cards that indicate parts of speech for the creation of super sentences, and many more. Our students continue to love our tutoring because we make our tutoring sessions both interesting and refreshing.
