Is your child having difficultly adding and subtracting numbers? At Jill Abrams tutoring we provide and alternative method to help your child succeed. Touch points are a multi-sensory method allowing students to better understand math content. It is a visual and tactile strategy we use with students who need a different type of learning style. Every number (1-9) has a physical point. Once the student has practiced and understands where the points are located, the next step is to apply the touch points to addition and subtraction equations. This method has been proven extremely effective and helpful to students at Jill Abrams tutoring.
